Grassroots Anti Fracking and Environmental Groups Call on People to Support Right 2 Change & Right 2 Water Candidates in General Election

We the undersigned, believe that in order to achieve immediate action on climate change issues, including a ban on fracking in Ireland, that we should unite in supporting candidates involved in the Right 2 Change/Right 2 Water movement in the upcoming general election.

The political parties that have been in power for the duration of the last two governments, have proven to us, that when it comes to making decisions, between the good of the people and our environment versus the desires of huge corporations and undemocratic institutions, these parties have, time and time again, against the will of the people, chosen to facilitate the corporate world and undemocratic institutions.

We want to see a change in the political make up of the members of the next Dáil Éireann and be part of a growing movement throughout this island that seeks a fairer and more just society. We believe grassroots movements, influencing and working alongside elected candidates, involved in the Right 2 Change / Right 2 Water movement, can help steer this country towards a better future.

We hope that people throughout the country will join us in voting for Right 2 Change / Right 2 Water candidates on Friday 26th February.
