18. To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor J. Lundy

“In an effort to protect agriculture and tourism in Co. Sligo I will again ask that this Council oppose the practice of ‘fracking’ to extract gas from within our county.”,30783,en.html

This was the motion that was put forward and unanimously agreed at yesterday’s meeting of Sligo County Council.
